The couple of days ago. I search for information on the MaxiMatic EPC-808 Elite Platinum 8-Quart Pressure Cooker, so i would like to bring a story to tell.
I love the pressure cooker EPC-808 8 QT ELITE by Maxi-matic. everything that I tried in the last three weeks was fantastic. I'm still learning what works best for my family's tastes. I really appreciate the Qt plate 8. I was able to feed us three more hosts and/or have leftovers cool. I was able to can 3 qts of green beans from the garden. I don't need to drag out the big old jiggle-top for three quarters. I bought Laura Sass perfect pressure and Bob Warden SLOW FOOD FAST. between them and are able to make some delicious. I borrowed the book, Miss Vickie's pressure cooker recipes from library-not happy buying it, not useful to me, but I loved the introduction pages. I like the delay and stay warm feature along with the ability to manually set times. I purchased mine through Best Buy for $ 99 online, but you need to pick it up at the store. Edit January 4, 2012: Stop at 11 months EPC-808 ELITE by Maxi-matic. I called the company. they knew it was the fuse and immediately sent to me. It was easy to pass out and 8 qt pressure cooker has been humming since. I loved using the pressure cooker during the long, hot summer; I would plug it out on the front porch not to heat the House, but have a real meal. that said, the pressure cooker lets out less heat than cooking or baking. change may 2015: it still works like a champ. I learned how to steam rice with it, too.
